| Description | Articulated moa skeleton found in the Honeycomb Hill Cave in Oparara Valley, South Island. Discovered in 1987, it had been perfectly preserved in an underground limestone cave for fifteen thousand years, and was articulated by museum staff. Collected in March 1987. |
