Street corner, 1969, Richard Killeen

Description	Twenty four figures, male and female, standing and walking at the corner of a building. The figures are flat and tiered to give depth rather than using true perspective. The background is grey and brown but there are areas of bright colour in some of the clothing of the figures. The artist, Richard Killeen was born in 1946 and lives in Auckland. Oil on canvas. Purchased 1994 with New Zealand Lottery Grants Board funds.
